The conditions treated are numerous:

  • Cirrhosis: scarring (fibrosis) of the liver, of viral, alcohol-related or autoimmune origin…
  • Tumors: primary or secondary (metastases)
  • Liver failure: chronic, fulminant, sub-fulminant
  • Viral hepatitis (A, B, C, but also cytomegalovirus, herpes, Epstein-Barr virus and, more rarely, D, E…)
  • Autoimmune hepatitis
  • Sclerosing cholangitis
  • Primary biliary cholangitis
  • Steatohepatitis
  • Portal hypertension
  • Parasitic and non-parasitic cystic diseases
